- Two first-party domains carry the same Holt County Courthouse site — holtcountymo.gov and holtcounty.org. Both were opened and both describe the Sheriff's Department as overseeing inmate care and services.
- The county publishes a 2025 Sheriff's Office Civil Fees PDF (https://holtcountymo.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/2025-Sheriff-Office-Civil-Fees.pdf). Those are civil-process service fees, not inmate phone, video-visit or commissary rates, so the fees check is recorded as no.
