The Judges
Missouri's 1940 Nonpartisan Court Plan covers the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals statewide, but at circuit level it applies in only six jurisdictions - Clay, Greene, Jackson, Platte, St. Louis County and St. Louis City. This county is not one of them, so its circuit and associate circuit judges are elected on a partisan ballot. They are state judicial officers, not county officials. - Laclede County splits its web presence between lacledecountymissouri.org and the County Clerk's own site lacledecountyclerk.org. Both are first-party and both were opened.
- The County Clerk's site advertises a County Dollars At Work budget section, a Financial Statements section and a commission agendas and minutes section. The agenda and minutes URL recorded here was listed on two county pages that were opened but the page itself refused every automated fetch, as did the budget page, so no budget figure and no minutes document could be examined and the budget check is recorded as no.
- No jail, bed count, roster, bond schedule or commissary and phone rate was found published on either county domain, and the sheriff's office has no site of its own.
