NAME SPELLED INCONSISTENTLY ACROSS OFFICIAL SOURCES - this is the worst case in the group. The county's statutory name in 20 O.S. Sec. 92.17 is 'LeFlore'. The Oklahoma Supreme Court's 2026 Judicial Directory uses 'LEFLORE' and 'LeFlore County'.
SHERIFF NOT NAMED ON HIS OWN OFFICIAL SITE: leflorecountyok.gov names fifteen deputies, three investigators, two dispatch supervisors and a reserve program, but never the sheriff.
NO COUNTY GOVERNMENT WEBSITE: the only official Le Flore County web presence found is the Sheriff's Office. There is no commissioners, clerk, assessor or treasurer site - the Sheriff's 'Helpful Numbers' list is the county's de facto directory.
