The county publishes no jail page of its own; the only jail information is on the Sheriff's Office site (muskogeeso.org), which the county site links to as 'Sheriff's Website'.
Inconsistent naming: the county/sheriff call it the 'Muskogee County Jail'; the Oklahoma State Department of Health licenses it as the 'MUSKOGEE COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY'.
The 04/28/2026 state inspection recorded a census of 301 against a State Fire Marshal rated capacity of 282, and found the facility not in substantial compliance.
The sheriff's FAQs page is published but empty, and returns 'File not found' even though it is linked from the site navigation.
