- APPOINTED SHERIFF: Keith Frutiger is named Sheriff on Woodward County's own website, but the Woodward News reported he was appointed interim sheriff by the Board of County Commissioners rather than elected.
- PUBLIC TRUST: the new Woodward County Detention Facility was financed through indebtedness incurred on behalf of the county at the Woodward County Public Facilities Authority, a public trust, serviced by a dedicated 5/8-cent sales tax approved by voters August 11, 2009.
- INCONSISTENT NAMING: the county writes 'Woodward County Jail' throughout its site; the Oklahoma State Department of Health licenses and inspects it as 'WOODWARD COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY'; the county's own sales-tax ordinance (quoted in the state audit) calls it the 'Woodward County Detention Facili…
