The Judges
Presidio County publishes no County Court at Law. The 394th District Court is a multi-county court seated in Alpine (201 W Ave E, Alpine); its judge is published on the county site simply as "Monty Kimball". The two justice courts sit in Marfa (Pct. 1) and Presidio (Pct. 2).

- The county's own site, co.presidio.tx.us, publishes nothing about the jail: the Sheriff page is a staff roster with addresses and phone numbers. The jail name, address and visitation hours come from presidiocountysheriff.com, the Sheriff's Office site, which the county home page does not link — that gap is itself a finding.
- The Sheriff's Office site posts arrest lists by year (2014 through 2026), but those are historical arrest logs, not a list of who is in custody now, so roster is no.
- Two commissioners and the Precinct 2 JP office are reachable only through personal yahoo.com or att.net addresses on the county site.
- Two of the county's own posted budget documents were still labelled with 2021 Operation Lone Star and OPSG grant amendments; the current adopted budget (FY2026) and the FY2027 proposed budget are both published.
