Daggett County has no operating jail. The county's own Jail page states the Daggett County Jail closed in February 2017 and that it does not appear it will reopen. This is the central finding for this county, not a gap.
The 2008 legislative audit identified Morgan, Piute and Wayne as the Utah counties without a jail; Daggett had one at that time and closed it in 2017, so the count of Utah counties operating a jail is lower today than the 26 of 29 that audit reported.
